Montana honky tonk legend Russ Nasset is honored in this encore combination of two programs from the Montana Public Radio archives. Nasset, a fixture of the Montana music scene for more than four decades as both a solo artist as well as with his signature band The Revelators passed away in April of 2025.

Born in Byrdstown Tennessee, Sierra Hull was immersed in the rural bluegrass culture there, and then added a Berkley School of Music degree into the mix in her early teens. From Alaska to Argentina: Greg and June Siple celebrate 50th anniversary of “Hemistour”
Program Director Michael Marsolek sits down with Greg and June Siple to talk about their bicycle tour from Anchorage, Alaska, to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, which took place from 1972 to 1975 and totaled 18,272 miles. A long-form documentary will air on Montana Public Radio later this year.
