Jake Birch

As the Production Manager at Montana Public Radio, I wear many hats. My primary role is to hold and guide the big picture for everything production on our arts and culture side. Whether it’s engineering live sessions, voicing segments, installing facility upgrades, or writing how-to documents, I have my hands in most aspects of our production process, both big and small.

My journey began in the music industry, where I spent over 20 years as a mixer and producer. During that time, I had the pleasure of working in renowned studios alongside notable artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Vulfpeck, and Lake Street Dive.

Now, I’ve found a new rhythm in the slower pace of radio life, allowing me to spend quality time with my wife and three kids.
