Is there a connection between our health and climate change?

climate911.org

Doctor Wendy Ring is bicycling across the country, speaking to various groups about the impacts of climate change.
Ring is a Northern Califonia-based general practitioner trained in both medicine and public health.
In 1990 she created a mobile clinic to care for the working uninsured, the homeless, undocumented immigrants and others.

She now divides her time between her medical work and climate activism.
Ring was recently in Missoula where she spoke with several groups of local health professionals; offering her organization's five point prescription to "treat" climate change.
In tonight's feature interview with Edward O'Brien, Ring says there is a clear connection between climate change and public health.

Edward O’Brien first landed at Montana Public Radio three decades ago as a news intern while attending the UM School of Journalism. He covers a wide range of stories from around the state.
