A young skier from Butte died Saturday after colliding with a tree at Discovery Ski Area. The death was confirmed by Discovery and the Granite County Sheriff’s Department.
Discovery president Ciche Pitcher said ski patrol were unable to resuscitate the minor skier after responding to reports that the skier crashed into a tree.
The Granite County Sheriff’s Office confirmed it is investigating the incident.
