The University of Montana’s law school will look at the issue of cannabis in Indian country next week. It’s part of the school’s annual "Indian Law Week."
Also on the agenda is a discussion of tribally-related buffalo restoration efforts, with the regional executive director of the National Wildlife Federation. On Wednesday the discussion will focus on the Séliš, Ksanka and QÍispé Hydroelectric dam, the former Kerr dam that’s now owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
Indian Law Week is hosted by the University of Montana Native American Law Students Association
