Montanans are now receiving partial federal food benefits. State health officials say they sent the money for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, Sunday.

This comes as the Trump administration is fighting a court order telling it to fully fund the program.

State health officials say enrollees can check their balance online or by calling 1-866-850-1556.
