Hellgate High Assistant Principal Resigns After Data Breach

The assistant principal of Hellgate High School has submitted her resignation to Missoula County Public Schools Superintendent Mark Thane today. This follows the recent data breach at MCPS where information of 1,100 students were accidentally released to a group of parents via email.

Libby Oliver became the assistant principal at Hellgate last September after she was transferred from Sentinel High School for what school officials called an ‘incident’ with the principal that lead to them both being charged with misconduct by the school board.

MCPS said in their press release on the resignation that they will not do any interviews or release further comments on the subject.
