Voters will have a chance to hear from candidates running for the Montana Supreme Court twice this week at two public forums.

Flathead County election administrator Debbie Pierson says an administrative error led to more than 170 people casting ballots in the wrong ward. A state senator in Montana has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer after a traffic stop in May during which he threatened to call the attorney general and argued he couldn't be arrested because he was a lawmaker on his way to legislative business.
