Catalyst Quartet

  • Violinist Karla Donehew Perez always wanted to be in a quartet as opposed to a symphonic player or soloist. She got her wish and much more as a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Catalyst Quartet. Program host John Floridis interviewed Karla by phone in the late Spring of 2021 to talk about her career, the group’s journey and their most recent recording “Uncovered.”
