Dr. Kimberley Rain Miner, Earth and Climate scientist from Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Lab will join us live on The Pea Green Boat February 2 at 4 p.m. to help us understand climate change. We will learn about the science that lets us know the climate is changing. We will talk about the effects of this rising average temperature on the earth; what carbon, methane and human activity has to do with it all, and also touch on what we can do to help slow climate change.

We will unearth NASA’sClimate Kids website, a resource for kids, parents, teachers and anyone of any age to clarify Climate Change and its effects on our planet.

Dr. Miner, has dedicated her life exploring and researching the changing world we live in focusing on the worst impacts of climate change. Her research has taken her to the most extreme environments in the world, traveling to the North and South Poles as well as high-mountain ranges in North America, Europe and Asia. Dr. Miner’s outreach work includes numerous YouTube videos for kids, kids of all ages and for grownups.

Sam Manno, that’s me! The host and producer of the Children's Corner.
