Ways to Connect

I know we need rain here in western Montana; but I’m hoping it doesn’t rain this Thursday (May 6, 2021). You see, I’ve been asked to host Thursday Free Forms at 11 a.m., which is one of my favorites of the shows I get to do on MTPR. And I’ve got what I think is a great set of songs for a bright sunny morning in May.

Get ready for something different on Friday's episode of Muse's Jukebox at 10 p.m.

I’m certain I speak for all my fellow music hosts on Montana Public Radio when I say that what makes presenting music on MTPR so gratifying is that we are not limited by some master playlist from which we must select tracks for our programs. Within some pretty broad parameters, we can literally play about anything. This is what we mean by "hand-picked music."

Larry Garde is hosting "Pazz & Jop" tonight, and he's planned an entire program of interpretations of songs written by Bob Dylan. The show promises to remind listeners of older familiar recordings, and to introduce a few new ones that listeners may not have heard before.

Tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. on your radio or on our website.
