Authorities investigate Amtrak crash, say they're 'not ruling anything out'

Federal authorities investigating an Amtrak passenger train derailment that killed three people near Joplin, Montana Saturday say the train was not exceeding the speed limit, but it’s too early to say what caused the crash. Montana Public Radio’s Shaylee Ragar reports.

Shaylee began covering state government and politics for Montana Public Radio in August 2020. Originally from Belgrade, Montana, she graduated from the University of Montana’s journalism program and previously worked as a reporter for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle and UM’s Legislative News Service.
