Update 03/22/16: The Montana Department of Justice is canceling the Missing Endangered Person Advisory for Victor Killsnight and Kaelin Rodgers. Both boys have been located safe in Montana.
The state Justice Department has issued a missing and endangered person advisory for two Browning boys who were taken by their non-custodial father last month. One of the boys is cognitively delayed and speech impaired. Both are Native American.
Blackfeet Tribal Police say 8-year-old Victor Killsnight and 12-year-old Kaelin Rodgers were taken by 37-year-old Shem Killsnight from a Child Protective Services placement home on Feb. 11.
Shem Killsnight is under federal investigation for child abuse. Blackfeet police say the boys weren't reported missing until last Friday. Police believe Killsnight may be driving a black 2000 Oldsmobile Alero with Montana license plates to Tacoma, Washington or Seattle.
