Hello Listeners. To each of you young and/or young at heart, I am truly honored to be able to host the Pea Green Boat and be a part of the long-standing tradition of children’s programming here on Montana Public Radio.

As a mother of two teenagers, listening to Marcia and Annie and the many wonderful experts and guests, over the years has taught us, engaged us, and uplifted us, while simultaneously creating wonderful family bonding moments of dancing in our living room or in our car while running around. I am grateful to be able to continue building those moments with this community.

I look forward to finding new stories and more music to create and strengthen our community as well as play favorites from Bill Harley and other beloved songs.

Due to Covid, I am creating most of my programs from my home computer.

When I am not hosting or creating programs for Montana Public Radio, I love spending time with my children and finding ways to build and strengthen and inspire creativity in new ways. We like to paint, read, bake, swim, biking, and we take regular walks with our corgi, Bella.

Olivia Sears is the mother of two daughters and a board operator and dejee at Montana Public Radio. She also writes children's book reviews for The Write Question blog.
