Hello! I’m Pam, the librarian and interim host of the Pea Green Boat. I love sharing good stories and songs with children of all ages.
I have been the Children’s Librarian at the Missoula Public Library for over 10 years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. The part I like the best is meeting children and helping them find just the right book. I love to read aloud to our visitors at story time and our books and babies program called Tiny Tales.
I’m thrilled that I have been offered the opportunity to share stories and songs with listeners of the Pea Green Boat.
I have 2 children and I was lucky enough to stay home with my kids when they were little. One of the things we especially enjoyed was listening to the Pea Green Boat. We had lots of driveway moments as we shuttled from here to there, running errands and after school activities. Now as a guest host I am using my knowledge of children’s literature and my experience of working with children to make fun choices for listeners.
When not at the library or MTPR I enjoy hiking, biking, reading (of course) and having fun times with my kiddos.
