Multiple Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter Sarah Jarosz returns to Spotlight by phone to visit with host John Floridis. Sarah digs into the story behind "Blue Heron Suite" (inspired by her mother's battle with cancer) her 2021 song cycle release as well as her Grammy winning project "World On The Ground." As well Sarah dives into her history as a player, writer, song interpreter and how the mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile became a close friend in addition to being an early mentor.

John Floridis, the host and producer of Musician's Spotlight, has been with Montana Public Radio since 1997. He has interviewed over 200 musicians during that time. He is also an independent recording and performing artist in his own right and a former registered music therapist.
