Tom Beetz

In June 2004, John Floridis and "Musicians' Spotlight" co-host Brian Kopper had the opportunity to talk shop with B.B. King on his tour bus. Originally aired as a two-part program, the interview highlights B.B.'s humble beginnings in Indianola, Mississippi, his early musical influences, and some pivotal moments in his life, both personal and professional.

(Broadcast: "Musicians' Spotlight," during the Monday Music Special slot on 5/18/15. Listen on Thursday evenings at 7:30, or via podcast.)

John Floridis, the host and producer of Musician's Spotlight, has been with Montana Public Radio since 1997. He has interviewed over 200 musicians during that time. He is also an independent recording and performing artist in his own right and a former registered music therapist.
