University Of Montana Police Investigating Sexual Assault Report

University of Montana police in Missoula are investigating the report of a sexual assault that occurred in the University Villages housing area on May 20 around 10 p.m.

The suspect is described as tall, slender, in his mid-20s and wearing a black hoodie, black cargo pants and black tennis shoes. The suspect is also reported to have worn a black ski mask and gloves.

The alleged assault was reported to UMPD Monday. UMPD is asking any witnesses to make a report.

In the 2010s, UM faced accusations of uninvestigated sexual assaults that led to a U.S. Department of Justice investigation.

If you witnessed this or have any information regarding the suspect, please immediately contact UMPD at (406) 243-4000. You can also report online at this link: Online Police Report.
