Survey: What do you want to know about education in Montana

Whether you’re a parent of a school-age child, a teacher, an administrator, school board member or just someone passionate about education in your community, I want to hear from you. What do you love about your local schools? What frustrates you? What’s going well, and what needs to improve? Complete this short survey to share your perspective.

MTPR wants to put you at the center of our reporting!

My name is Austin, and I host Morning Edition for Montana Public Radio. After I sign off, I’m usually out reporting on the latest trends in education, from preschool to higher ed.

I’ve covered Montana’s languishing pay for early-career teachers, measles vaccination rates in rural schools and the triumphs of a Missoula robotics team — but I know there are many, many more stories I’m missing.

That’s where you come in! Whether you’re a parent of a school-age child, a teacher, an administrator, school board member or just someone passionate about education in your community, I want to hear from you.

What do you love about your local schools? What frustrates you? What’s going well, and what needs to improve?

Maybe you have thoughts about the way we pay for schools, about charter schools, private education, homeschooling, testing — this is a place for you to give me a snapshot of education in your community.

Please complete this short survey to help shape our education coverage.

We won't use your name without your permission. We may use responses on air, online and in other stories we report as part of our ongoing coverage.
