A proposal to claw back funds for public media has already passed the House of Representatives. Montana Public Radio and stations across the country receive critical federal funds to strengthen our work. The Senate could vote on the proposal in the coming days. George Everett & Artists of the Butte Folk Festival!

On "In Other Words" tonight, producers Ann Szalda-Petree and Clark Grant take us to Butte to talk with George Everett, director of the fantabulous Butte Folk Festival, as well as guest artists appearing this coming weekend: New Orleans jazz pianist Henry Butler and members of Khac Chi, a Vietnamese multi-instrumentalist group. Join us from 10:30 to 11:30 pm, or catch the show later on inotherwordsradio.wordpress.com.

Beth Judy is the author of Bold Women in Montana History and a limited audio series based on the book. She previously hosted and produced The Plant Detective, a locally produced and nationally syndicated program.
