Travelers are facing long waits at security checkpoints at many airports across the country. Transportation Security Administration employees are working without pay, some are calling out sick, and some have quit due to the partial government shutdown.

Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd talks to CNBC airline reporter Leslie Josephs, who was at JFK Airport in New York.
