Future Flooded with Uncertainty in Port Sulphur

Jeremy Guilbeau's store and gas station were destroyed. The one gas pump left doesn't work when the electricity is off. That's often, as crews work to restore service. He runs a smaller store out of a shed.

The Bush administration is asking Congress for the billions of dollars needed to bolster levees enough to keep flood insurance premiums affordable. But most of one nearby parish was left out of that announcement and residents worry their communities may be on the verge of extinction.
