Trial Begins for Abortion Clinic Bombing Suspect

NPR's Alex Chadwick speaks with Don Plummer, reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, about the trial of Eric Rudolph, which begins Wednesday in Atlanta. Rudolph is accused of bombing a Birmingham, Alabama abortion clinic in 1998, and is a suspect in the bombing of another clinic, a gay club and a blast at the Atlanta Summer Olympic Games.
