Volunteer Opportunities we offer throughout the year:

Fold and Organize our Station Tees
Not a hard job at all, and is a HUGE help to us. Come help fold the hundreds of beautiful spring t-shirts before the drive so they are ready to pop in the mail right after the drive ends. You'll love using our nifty t-shirt folder!

Answer Pledge Calls
Join us in the phone room to take pledge calls from Montana Public Radio listeners phoning in their pledge of support. When you volunteer this way, you will have the opportunity to see our on air hosts in action. We ask new phone room volunteers to please attend a one hour training session offered prior to our pledge drives.  Our on air pledge drives occur in October and March/April every year.

Package Thank-You Gifts
Spend a few hours in our fundraising office packing t-shirts, grocery bags, CDs, books, and many other wonderful items that were pledged for during the drive and getting them ready to mail. 

Sign up for Pledge Call Training
Please sign up to attend a 30-minute, in-person training on how to take a pledge call. We'll meet in the MTPR studio phone room, PAR/TV Building on the UM campus, Missoula

If it's your first time volunteering to answer phones, please attend one of these in-person training sessions. Reserve your spot.

Poster Distribution
KUFM always needs help promoting our drives. Many businesses and community establishments are willing to hang our posters for a time before our pledge drives and we are always looking for volunteers willing to get them there. This can often be worked into your day as you stop in to the grocery store you frequent, or the library, or while on the University of Montana campus. If you happen to travel outside of Missoula, and still within our listening area, take some posters with you! There are many businesses around the state that support Montana Public Radio. Please call 243-4988 if you're interested in helping put up posters in your listening area!
