Gov. Steve Bullock is extending Montana’s stay-at-home order for at least another two weeks, until April 24. 

The Department of Justice Today confirmed Tuesday what is believed to be the first positive COVID-19 case in a jail inmate.

The governor is now asking Montanans to follow guidance from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to wear a mask or face covering in public situations when social distancing might be difficult, like at a grocery store or pharmacy.

Gov. Steve Bullock extended school closures Tuesday for at least another two weeks to continue social distancing amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
