Best Wishes To Nora Saks As She Begins A New Chapter

Nora Saks
Nora Saks

Help us wish Richest Hill reporter and host Nora Saks good luck as she embarks on the next phase of her career. Today is Nora's last day at MTPR. While we're all sad to see her go, we know she has a bright future ahead, and we count ourselves lucky to have been able to work with her over the years. Keep your ears open, you'll hear her insightful and colorful reporting in your speakers again soon.

Our Director Ray Ekness shared this message:

I wanted to say thank you to Nora Saks who will be leaving our newsroom this week. Nora came on as a talented graduate student and became our reporter in Butte where she produced the award-winning podcast Richest Hill. I’m so proud of the outstanding stories Nora has told at MTPR. We were all waiting anxiously for each episode of Richest Hill to drop so we could hear what new insights and characters Nora and her team would introduce us to. We all celebrated as she received the Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize that salutes a new generation of public journalists under the age of 35. So thanks to Nora for the great reporting and storytelling. Thanks for being a part of the MTPR family. And not that she’ll need it, but “GOOD LUCK!” from all of the staff and listeners of MTPR. We can’t wait to hear what’s next.

Josh Burnham is MTPR's digital editor. He works on the news team and as a content strategist managing the station's website, podcasts, email newsletters and social media.
