The House has approved a proposal to eliminate $700 million in already-approved funding for public media. If enacted, it would strip essential services and could force rural stations off the air. The Senate will take up the bill next.

Monica Huggett Opens 11th Annual Montana Baroque Music Festival

Michael Marsolek talks with Monica Huggett, co-founder of the Montana Baroque Music Festival. The 2014 festival takes place Tuesday, July 29th - Thursday, July 31st at Quinn's Hot Springs Resort in Paradise, MT, with concerts starting at 7pm.

In addition to violinist Huggett, other musicians at the festival include recorder players and baroque flautists, Matthias Maute and Sophie Larivière;  violinist and violist, Adam LaMotte; violinists Gregory Ewer and Carrie Krause; violist Victoria Gunn; cellist Joanna Blendulf; contrabassist Kristin Zoernig; and Daniel Zuluaga, who plays lute and guitar.
