Kinetoscope: A Screendance Film Festival

3/2/14: This week on "Front Row Center:" Michael Marsolek talks with Joy French, director of Missoula's Bare Bait Dance, about the premier of Montana's first screendance film festival, Kinetoscope. A relatively new art form, screendance combines the aesthetic and technical elements of both dance and filmmaking.

Featuring over a dozen short dances choreographed specifically for film, Kinetoscope will be held at Missoula's Roxy Theater (718 S. Higgins Ave, Missoula, MT) on Friday, March 7th and Saturday, March 8th at 7:00 and 9:00pm.

Program A: March 7th at 7:00, March 8th at 9:00

Program B: March 7th at 9:00, March 8th at 7:00

The two unique screenings include films from the USA, Canada, and Europe and have been selected in collaboration with the Colorado-based, Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema.
