A New Course in Iraq: Public Opinion

We begin a series of conversations about reaction to President Bush's new Iraq strategy. Christopher Gelpi, a political science professor at Duke University, talks with Alex Chadwick about public sentiment regarding the Iraq war. Gelpi says the president is gambling that his proposed troop increases will produce an improvement in public opinion over the long term.
