A proposal to claw back funds for public media has already passed the House of Representatives. Senators Spar over Karl Rove

Senate Republicans and Democrats square off over the conduct of President Bush's political adviser, Karl Rove. Democrats say he leaked the name of a CIA operative to the press. They want to amend the Homeland Defense spending bill to strip the security clearance of any federal employee who reveals the identity of a covert agent.
