Montana Public Radio and stations across the country receive critical federal funds to strengthen our work. The Senate could vote on the proposal in the coming days. 'Amerasians' Caught Between Two Cultures, Part 1

In Southern California's Orange County, Little Saigon is home to tens of thousands of residents of Vietnamese heritage -- including sons and daughters of Vietnamese mothers and American soldiers who served in the Vietnam War, who often call themselves "Amerasians." In the first of a two-part series, reporter Rob Schmitz of member station KPCC explores the lives of Amerasians living in Orange County.
