New CEO takes the helm at Montana Community Foundation

Montana Community Foundation

Montana's largest community foundation has hired a new Chief Executive Officer who brings almost 20 years of philanthropic experience with her.

Mary Rutherford takes the helm of the Montana Community Foundation which is comprised of more than 560 philanthropic funds with over 72-million dollars in assets.
     MFC features affiliate community foundations in 45 Montana communities and, using  Rutherford's words, "exists to serve Montana - forever."
     In this  interview with Edward O'Brien, Rutherford explains her organization receives gifts, such as endowed funds, to benefit charitable causes important to donors.
