The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office announced that it arrested a juvenile male Monday for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to Bigfork High School. The suspect has been charged with intimidation.

“Yesterday, we were able to further the investigation and a juvenile male was located and taken into custody. We’re withholding the male’s name at this time and the investigation is continuing,” Sheriff Brian Heino said.

School officials received a short, non-detailed message saying there was a bomb in the high school early Monday morning. School officials evacuated the building and law enforcement was able to search the school. Students returned to class by 9 a.m after police found no evidence of a bomb.
