The Crow Tribe is extending its stay at home order to May 14.
In an executive order issued Apr. 30, Chairman AJ Not Afraid writes it’s essential for tribal members and residents to stay at home to the maximum extent possible to protect public health and human safety on the Crow Reservation.
Businesses on the reservation, excepting essential services, will remain closed another two weeks. Public and private gatherings of any number of people are prohibited. Out of state travelers are required to self-quarantine for 14 days when returning to the reservation.
Montana Governor Steve Bullock lifted a statewide stay-at-home order Apr. 26.
The Crow Tribe has been under a stay at home order since Mar. 28. Other tribal nations in Montana, including Blackfeet and Fort Belknap, are also under local closure orders.
