The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has approved the drinking and wastewater plans for a new RV park proposed for one mile outside the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

The DEQ’s final Environmental Assessment green lights Glacier Park Inc.’s proposal to install their own public water supply, wastewater collection and disposal systems, and on-site stormwater runoff collection. Solid waste will be transported to the Flathead County landfill.

The park, which will have space for 102 RVs and 25 rental cabins, was approved by Flathead County last year.
