A hiker who went missing in the Pattee Canyon area near Missoula was found dead Wednesday.
According to the Missoulian, the body of Missoula resident Michael Kreisberg was spotted by a helicopter crew north of the Crazy Canyon Trailhead Wednesday evening.
Authorities began searching for the 78-year-old Kreisberg in the area Tuesday night after he was reported missing by his wife.
