A Helena immigration attorney says the phones at his Border Crossing law firmwere ringing off the hook today. Shahid Haque-Hausrathsays his clients are thrilled with President Obama's executive action on immigration.

Obama's plan offers deportation relief and work permits to 5 million immigrants who are in the country illegally.

"I'm hearing tears of joy from parents who are excited that they will soon have a path to get a work authorization card and be free from the fear of deportation," Haque-Hausrath says.

Critics describe the President's immigration plan as an executive overreach. Haque-Hausrath concedes it's the largest executive action ever taken on the immigration issue, however, he believes Obama has the legal authority to do so.
