Seeds to Cities/Adventure Cycling

Three young women are bicycling from California to New York this summer gathering information about seeds; meeting people who produce and save seeds, traditions that revolve around seeds and local agriculture.
Carmen Taylor, Vickie Ly and Koko Barrios - all friends from U-C Berkeley - developed "Seeds to Cities" - a multimedia project that as they put it, "uses sound and stories to explore the farm, the city and the forgotten frontiers in between".

The ladies recently spent a few days in Missoula and stopped by our studios and introduced themselves to Edward O'Brien.
Koko says all three members of the team have different motivations for embarking on this cross-country adventure.
