Acclaimed concert violinist Kerson Leong visits with host John Floridis to talk about his career and recordings ahead of an appearance in Montana in the Spring of 2024.

Kerson talks about the importance of violin competitions on the arc of his career, how his physicist father helped him rethink the theory of string resonance and why he is so optimistic on the future of classical music.

John Floridis, the host and producer of Musician's Spotlight, has been with Montana Public Radio since 1997. He has interviewed over 200 musicians during that time. He is also an independent recording and performing artist in his own right and a former registered music therapist.
