The Portland Cello Project's repertoire includes Bach, Kanye West, and video game themes. They've carved out a niche based on the philosophy "Bring the cello to places where you wouldn't normally hear it." The PCP perform at venues ranging from rock clubs to prestigious concert halls, illustrating the rest of the ensemble's credo: "Play music on the cello you wouldn't normally hear played on the instrument" and "Build bridges across all musical communities by bringing a diverse assortment of musical collaborators on stage."

(Broadcast: "Musicians' Spotlight," 5/14/15 & 8/20/15. Listen on Thursday evenings at 7:30, or via podcast.)
