The Blackfeet Nation is re-implementing "Phase 2" COVID-19 restrictions due to the omicron variant.

The tribe says gatherings and capacity inside businesses will be limited, and a curfew will be reinstated along with a mask mandate. Residents on the reservation are asked to limit their travel to grocery shopping and medical purposes. Tribal offices will also be closed to the public.

On Friday, Blackfeet officials reported there were 104 active COVID-19 cases, and nearly 70% of those people were fully vaccinated.
