Missoula Police Arrest Suspect In Tuesday Homicide

Missoula Police Officers announced Wednesday evening that they have arrested the suspect in a deliberate homicide case.

Missoula Police Officers announced Wednesday evening that they have arrested the suspect in a deliberate homicide case.

The police department said in a press release that Christopher Newrider was arrested as the suspect in the fatal shooting of Sundance Ron Leon Hernandez of Missoula.

Police had been searching for Newrider since Tuesday afternoon when the incident was reported at the Creekside Apartments near the Clark Fork River.

According to officials, Newrider is being held in the Missoula County Detention Center with a $1 million bond.
