Carroll College announced today that John Cech, the current deputy commissioner for the Montana University System, will be the college’s next president. Cech was chosen to be the 18th president of Carroll by the school’s board of trustees.

Cech has served in the Montana University System for 16 years. Before working in the commissioner’s office he worked at City College at MSU Billings.

Cech will take over the responsibilities as Carroll’s president in June. He replaces Reverend Stephen Rowan, who served as interim president for the college since last August.
