Former Republican state legislator and lieutenant governor John Bohlinger wants to be Montana's next democratic U.S. Senator.

Bohlinger is an ex-Marine and former Billings businessman who served five terms in the legislature and two terms as the Republican lieutenant governor with democratic Governor Brian Schweitzer.

He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights, and now proudly wears the label of progressive democrat. He's running against banker-turned-rancher Dirk Adams and Senator John Walsh in the democratic U.S. Senate primary.
In this feature interview, Bohlinger talks issues with News Director Sally Mauk, including why he supported passage of the Affordable Care Act.
