Morning Edition Changes On Montana Public Radio

Morning Edition

You may have noticed that the sound of NPR’s Morning Edition and Montana Morning News has changed a bit over the last couple weeks. NPR decided to adjust the order of things during Morning Edition. That means you’ll now hear newscasts at the top and bottom of each hour, followed by Montana News.

That’s where the other change has happened. Your morning news is now being delivered by Beau Baker. Don't worry, you'll still hear from Edward O'Brien, but now he has a slightly later wake-up call. We made the change to give him time to do more reporting.
We’re constantly working to be wise stewards of your financial investment in the station, and now you’ll hear more in-depth local reporting from Edward O’Brien about stories affecting you.

Let us know how these changes sound to you. And thank you for your support of Montana news, arts and hand-picked music on MTPR.
