Tis’ The Season For Spring Maintenance

MTPR transmitters.

On April 23 around 11 a.m., 91.5 MHz in Missoula went off the air for about 75 minutes. During that time, we were performing software and firmware upgrades to the transmitter in order to ensure we were running the most stable and current version of the software which provides monitoring and control of the transmitter’s performance.

As the snow melts to grant us access, we will repeat this procedure for 89.5 MHz in Polson, 90.1 MHz in Kalispell and 90.5 MHz in Libby. Conditions at our transmitter sites can change quickly, but we'll do our best to provide as much advanced notice as possible before any outages.

Don't forget you can tune in any time right here at mtpr.org.
