Maurice White was an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger and bandleader. Working with artists like Barbara Streisand, Ramsey Lewis and numerous others he won seven Grammys and was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Yet most people just know of him as a member of Earth, Wind and Fire.
