Michael Marsolek

"3,000 Years of Ancient Ireland’s Music and Instruments" is the title of Simon O’Dwyer and Maria Cullen O’Dwyer's lecture at 8pm on Thursday, September 19th in the Dennison Theater at the University of Montana-Missoula, and on Friday, September 20th at 7:30pm at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives in Butte. The O'Dwyers spoke with Michael Marsolek about their passion for the musical archaeology of Ireland - horns, trumpets, bells, whistles and pipes made of iron, bronze and wood, some of them more than 4,000 years old.
