The state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.8 percent in February, compared to the national rate of 4.7 percent.

The Montana House has endorsed a bill that would allow the state Board of Investments to loan Talen Energy $10 million a year to keep two units of the Colstrip power plant running for the next five years.
