On tonight's evening newscast: Authorities say a shooting has taken place at an East Missoula home.

A Canadian man is facing a felony drug charge after a Montana Highway Patrol officer says he found about 100 pounds of cocaine in the man's pickup truck during a routine traffic stop.

Missoula police say they’ve located a pair of children they issued a missing persons advisory for yesterday. They said that Callen  and Sula Cassidy-Robinson, ages 6 and 1 were found in the Salt Lake City area and that both children are doing fine. 

Congressman Ryan Zinke says federal forests don't have a fire problem as much as they have a land management problem.

Zinke, a Republican and Montana's lone Representative in the U.S. House, introduced a forest management reform bill this week.

A former billionaire jailed for contempt of a court order has turned over more than 9,000 pages of documents he says explains what happened to $13.8 million he made in the sale of a Mexican resort.

Yellowstone Club founder Tim Blixseth has been held in a Great Falls jail since April 20. U.S. District Judge Sam Haddon locked Blixseth up on a civil contempt order for not fully accounting for the Tamarindo resort sale that is part of his bankruptcy case.

A Billings woman says the FBI interviewed her last month about her allegations that her brother was sexually abused while in high school by Dennis Hastert, the wrestling coach who would later become speaker of the House.
